Moravian Church Publication c.1820

Moravian Church publication printed in London containing information from a letter written by H.P Hallbeck to Christian Ignatius Latrobe. The publication informs the Moravian Church members of the status of the “Hottentot Congregation at Uitenhagen” and their return to Witte Revier [sic].

The publication was folded and mailed to Labrador, Canada.

The Moravian Church, or the Moravian Brethren (Czech: Moravská církev or Moravští bratři), formally the Unitas Fratrum (Latin: "Unity of the Brethren"), is one of the oldest Protestant denominations in Christianity, dating back to the Bohemian Reformation of the 15th century and the original Unity of the Brethren (Czech: Jednota bratrská) founded in the Kingdom of Bohemia, sixty years before Martin Luther's Reformation.
