Special collector's edition of Donald Greig by Gerald Hoberman (2008)

Donald Greig belongs to the fourth generation of the famous Charles Greig jewelry dynasty (established in 1899). While trained within his family's high-end jewelry tradition, he expanded into fine art sculpting, becoming one of Africa's most prominent wildlife sculptors operating his own dedicated bronze foundry in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town.

Author and photographer Gerald Hoberman was himself a distinguished figure in fine publishing and numismatics, known for producing lavish, museum-quality coffee table books detailing southern African heritage and natural history.

Limited to 100 numbered copies (this copy being No. 15), the collector's edition was handbound in Oasis goatskin—a premium, vegetable-tanned Nigerian goatskin prized in traditional fine bookbinding for its grain texture and durability. Signed and dated by Donald Greig, February 2008.
