Nieuwe Republiek Land Grant c.1888 & Blue Book 1887
Land Grant - Nieuwe Republiek signed by State President Lucas Johannes Meyer (1846-1902).
This would have been one of the last official documents signed as the Nieuwe Republiek was disestablished on 20 July 1888.
The Nieuwe Republiek was a small Boer Republic that existed from 1884-1888 in present-day South Africa. Its independence was proclaimed on 16 August 1884 with land donated by the Zulu Kingdom through a treaty.
