Ex Libris and signed by anthropologist Robert Broom.
Broom hunted for fossils along a substantial part of the terrain which De Wet operated in.
It is speculated that Broom took this book with him and read it in the field. The damage to the book is thus part of it’s provenance.

James Findlay bought this book from the estate of Broom’s grandson in Emmerentia, Johannesburg in 2017.
