The Namaqualand Railway was a historic 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow-gauge railway spanning about 147 km (96 miles) between the coastal port of Port Nolloth and the copper-mining town of O'okiep in the Northern Cape of South Africa.

The Cape Copper Company (originally founded as the Cape of Good Hope Copper Mining Company Ltd.) was a cornerstone of South Africa’s early industrial revolution. For decades, it dominated the economic landscape of Namaqualand, transforming the region into a major global supplier of copper.
