This edition of Venus & Adonis follows the text of the first edition of 1593; the punctuation of this edition has been kept, but the spelling is modernized under the direction of R. Ellis Roberts.

Two hundred and seventy five copies have been printed by Robert Ashwin Maynard & Horace Walter Bray at the Raven Press in Harrow Weald, Middlesex. The work was finished on the 7th day of March 1932.
