Cape Government Railways Timetables (1892)

In 1892, the Cape Government Railways (CGR) saw major expansion, highlighted by the first train arriving in Johannesburg from Cape Town via the Free State on September 15, 1892. Key lines connecting the Cape Colony to the Transvaal and Orange Free State were completed, including connections through Stormberg Junction and Bethulie Bridge, facilitating inland expansion.
