Our Story

James Findlay trades in collectible books, antique maps, political posters, and works of art.

His journey as a book dealer began in 1997, with influences from other dealers such as Robyn Fryde, Michael Prior and Geoff Klass.

James hosts events including book launches and talks in the Cape Town Club.

His
YouTube channel is dedicated to telling stories about the treasures you will find in his shop.

A cozy room with vintage white sofas, bookshelves, framed artwork, carpeted floors, and a person sitting at a desk with a display case and decorative items.
Logo for James Findlay, featuring a gold compass rose and elegant script text, with a subtitle indicating collectible books, antique maps, and engravings.
