 Vintage Industrial Cover Advertising: The spine advertisements for "Firth Dredger Spares" (Thos. Firth & John Brown Ltd., Sheffield) on the 1930s volumes highlight the era's reliance on heavy steel engineering for industrial tin and gold dredging operations worldwide.  

 M.O.T. by Mabson (1906): "M.O.T." stands for Mines of the Transvaal, compiled by Richard R. Mabson for The Statist. Published shortly after the Anglo-Boer War, these volumes offer a granular, contemporary snapshot of the Witwatersrand gold rush and early South African mining operations.
